Eleonora Shuli is the Wider Europe programme assistant for the Sofia office at the European Council on Foreign Relations. Her research interests include the external policies of the EU, the eastern neighborhood, and the Balkans.
Previously, she was a project coordinator for REO Communications, where she assisted in the creation of reports on Serbia, Croatia, and Slovenia. She was also a research trainee for a project on democratic participation on digital platforms in Eurasia at the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg and gained further experience at the Embassy of Italy in Estonia.
Shuli holds a BA in international and diplomatic affairs from the University of Bologna. She also holds a double MA in European and international studies from the University of Trento and comparative politics of Eurasia from the Higher School of Economics of St. Petersburg.
