In partnership with the European Council on Foreign Relations and the BlueLink Foundation, the Civic Participation Forum and the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law organized the second Biennial of Civic Participation.
On 22 January 2018 in the Aula of the Sofia University, the second Biennial of Citizen Participation was organized by the "Forum Civic Participation" association and the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law in partnership with the European Council on Foreign Relations and the BlueLink Foundation.
During the event, reports were presented on Bulgaria's Presidency of the Council of the EU, the experience of Estonia, the contribution of NGOs to European policies, and the Civic Participation Index 2016–2017. A panel discussion discussed recommendations for increasing civic engagement at the national and European levels.

Ivo Draganov (New Bulgarian University), Iva Taralezhkova (Civic Participation Forum), Lyuben Panov (Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law) and Boryana Dimitrova (Alpha Research).
