The Judiciary: Independent and Accountable: Performance Indicators of the Bulgarian Judicial System

The conference was part of the project Strengthening the Policy Making Capacity of the Bulgarian Judicial System, implemented by the CLS in cooperation with the Supreme Judicial Council, and with the support of the UK Embassy in Bulgaria. The aim of the conference was to discuss the methods for evaluation of the performance of judiciary. A preliminary report including key indicators for evaluation of the judiciary as whole was presented at the conference. The report was prepared by the Centre for Liberal Strategies in cooperation with some members of Supreme Judicial Council and magistrates in the framework of the project.
