Next Europe in the Context of Internal and External Challenges

The “Next Europe in the Context of Internal and External Challenges” series of seminars and public lectures that should discuss the current situation in the EU and the possible policy options. The goal of the program is to rationalize the debate; to present and discuss existing positions; to propose analysis of the current crisis and its political implications.
The Next Europe series of workshops steps on and builds upon the experience and findings of the Europe at Risk 2.0, Europe at Risk and Periphery at Risk discussion series that were successfully implemented by the same organizations in 2012-2015.
The strategic goal of the “Next Europe in the Context of Internal and External Challenges” is to develop policy recommendations and risk scenarios on the background of the discussions. Another positive outcome of the program will be a better informed public debate on the difficult to tackle problems arising from the situation for virtually all European citizens.
In the first seminar of the series on May 30, 2016 we focused against the background of current divisions, to draft the “Visions for Next Europe in the light of a possible fundamental re-set of the Union.
